This category is for portrait photography. Artistic images of a person or group of people.

This category is for commercial images used to sell, market, promote or advertise a product, brand, service, or person(s).

This category is dedicated to creative photography and is open to the most incredible concepts and ideas. Digital manipulated photos are also accepted.

This category is for architectural photography, buildings or structures and any part thereof; dynamic images of architecture or architectural details.

This category is for photos showing clothes, accessories, hairstyles and anything related to fashion.

Exclusively to photographs shot & edited on all mobile phones and tablets.

This category is for photographs of events that make the news, through individual images documenting cultural, political or social issues affecting individuals or societies; coverage of news topics and their implications; and documenting human impact on the environment.

Focusing on images of wild animals in their natural habitats or pets, working animals, those kept in zoos or microscopic ones seen with the use of special equipment.

This category for photos depicting the nude human body with an emphasis on form, composition, emotional content, and other aesthetic qualities.

Images that accurately and attractively represent products for commercial purposes

Photography featuring landscapes in an artistic way, often enhanced, showing scenes in nature through the creative eye and techniques of the photographer

Images that focus on aesthetics; express an idea, a message, or an emotion through the artistic vision and execution of the photographer.

This category is for photographs where people are the focus, whether a single person or a group, showing the human aspect of life in all its wonderful variety.

This category is for all sports-related photography, editorial or artistic, featuring any competitive or recreational sport.

Relating to music, musicians, records (album art), concerts and musical events.

Non-objective, experimental, or conceptual photography depicting a visual image not immediately associated with the object world.

Photographer and Director
Emiliano Santapaola, a New York-based fashion photographer and director with over 20 years of experience, is known for his confident, experimental compositions and sophisticated use of color and light. He has been featured in magazines worldwide, with over 200 covers and editorials for publications like Vanidades, Cosmopolitan, and Harpers Bazaar. Santapaola has also executed campaigns and advertising projects in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Cristian Altamirano

Cristian Altamirano, known as “KRISTO,” is a photographer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor, and creative born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With over 19 years of experience, his work spans fashion photography, advertising, social events, documentary, journalism, and art.
Kristo has traveled the world covering major Fashion Weeks in Paris, London, Milan, Berlin, and São Paulo. His editorials and covers have appeared in top publications both in Argentina and internationally, and he has worked with leading PR firms, modeling agencies, and production companies.
Now based in New York City, Kristo continues his creative journey as an artist in the U.S. He also published “Buenos Aires in the Flesh,” a book combining art, fashion, architecture, and Argentine history. It was declared a cultural work of significance by the City of Buenos Aires Legislature, presented at the Argentine Consulate in NYC, and will soon tour embassies and consulates worldwide.

Who can apply for the photography awards?
All photographers, both amateurs and professionals, are invited to apply and showcase their talent. Whether you’re an emerging artist or an established professional, this photography awards program is open to individuals from all walks of photographic expertise.
How many entries can I submit?
You may enter as many Entries as you wish in the competition.
What is considered as a series?
A series consists of at least 2 and no more than 11 images, sharing a common theme and a single title. Series will be judged as an entire piece.
Can I enter one image into multiple categories?
Yes, you may enter the same image into as many categories as want. Additional fee for next category is $10.
Can I make changes to my entry after I have paid?
No, after payment has been made, entries cannot be edited.
Can I enter an image that has been published?
Both published and unpublished work is accepted.
Can I enter an image that won other competitions?
Images that have won prizes in other competitions or that have been submitted to other competitions currently underway are eligible.
Is there a time limit on when the photograph was taken?
There are no restrictions on the date of a photograph.
Can I add a text or logo on my image?
If the text or logo is an important part of the image it is acceptable, only in Advertising category.
Do you accept digitally manipulated images?
Digitally manipulated images are accepted, although within reason and taste.
Can I get a refund?
No. Entry fees are non-refundable.
